Keep
it simple!
When writing for the web or a brochure, the number one rule is to keep
it simple.
Make sure all your sentences are short, sharp and to the point.
Readers do not want to sift through pages and pages of copy to find the
information they want.
Be
consistent
Ensure all your promotional material is consistent.
Make certain your letterhead, website, business cards & flyers all
have the same look and feel.
Are the colours
similar?
Is the logo consistently located in the same position on every page?
Is the font the same?
Consistency ensures your brochures are identifiable even your logo is
taken off them.
Use
professionals
Use professionals for everything your company doesn't do.
Don't try to take on everything just to save dollars.
Instead, stick to what you are good at and let other people do what they
do best.
Remember, a poorly done job will adversely affect your business.
Do
what you say you will do
Meet (or better still, exceed) your customers' expectations by doing what
you do on time, every time and exactly as promised.
Anything else and you risk ruining your business reputation.
